Originally founded in 1986 as the Tennessee Foreign Language Institute (TFLI) and later becoming part of the University of Tennessee’s Institute for Public Service in 2018, TLC boasts a rich history of fostering intercultural communication and preparing individuals and organizations for the challenges of globalization.
