The Program for Intensive English (PIE) is a rigorous English language program situated on the campus of Indiana University Indianapolis. We provide academic English instruction in 7 levels for both international students and Indiana residents. Our goal at PIE is to offer non-native English speakers top-notch, research-based teaching and guidance to enhance their communication and academic abilities essential for success in academic, professional, and social environments. Graduates of PIE have gone on to pursue further studies at various universities globally, including IU-Indianapolis, Purdue University, and University of Indianapolis.
With 6 sessions offered annually, students can join PIE at the start of any session. The program caters to individuals like Henderson Eurresta from Venezuela and Salman from Saudi Arabia, who aimed to enhance their English skills for academic pursuits in the United States. PIE’s dedication to cultural understanding and academic achievement is evident in its diverse student body, which includes individuals like Raphael Edou from Benin and Silva Okonnor from Armenia.
