Established in 1998, this center serves as a gathering place for Mon individuals who relocated to Canberra in 1994, offering a warm environment for more than 200 Mon residents in the ACT region. With a history dating back over five millennia, the Mon language forms the core of the school’s curriculum, reflecting the cultural origins of the community in lower Burma and central Thailand.
