Established in 1993, the Modern Languages Teaching Centre (MLTC) serves as the primary language education provider at the University of Sheffield. With a focus on delivering specialized and general language instruction to more than 2,500 students annually, the MLTC caters to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty, and the wider community. Through close collaboration with the School of Languages and Cultures, the MLTC plays a crucial role in providing language components for the BA in Modern Languages and Cultures, enriching students’ skill sets for international placements and professional experiences.
