The English Skills Learning Center (ESLC) is a well-known institution committed to uniting and strengthening communities by overcoming language and cultural barriers. Established in 1988, ESLC has been delivering English language courses to adult learners from more than 86 different nations. With the assistance of 120 skilled volunteers, ESLC conducts classes at various venues like libraries, schools, community centers, and workplaces, ensuring accessibility for those with limited transportation.
ESLC’s goal is to establish a community that values all voices, promoting inclusivity and diversity among its students and volunteers. The center aims to empower individuals by improving their English language proficiency, enabling them to engage more actively in society.
