Milwaukee Academy of Chinese Language (MACL) is a K3–grade 8 traditional school that provides a range of programs to support students’ social and academic achievements. As the pioneer MPS initiative offering Mandarin Chinese instruction, MACL enhances students’ global awareness of diverse Asian cultures and their impact on the world. Students engage in daily Mandarin language lessons for thirty minutes, fostering a deeper understanding of cultural diversity.

MACL is also home to the International Newcomer Center, a specialized program catering to newly arrived middle school refugee students. This unique program enables students to grasp academic concepts while simultaneously mastering the English language.
